Free To Play MMO - Florensia

So with my WOW account without financial backing at the moment I have been exploring the tragic world of free to play MMOs.  I tried DDO and found it to be a decent game, but way to much of a grind for me to have much fun in it for very long.  It scores points for story, but by the 20th time you have performed the same quest it loses some of it's charm.  I will probably end up writing more about my DDO expierence some other time.  In this post I wanted to talk about Florensia.

Florensia is your typical free to play, micro transaction supported MMO, but it seems to be a bit better quality then the others out there.  The graphics are a bit cartoonish and very Japanese which is fine by me.  What has really grabbed is the story telling and natural leveling.  I have not played up very far through the game, but what I have experienced so far has not been a grind at all.  If I have to complain about something it has to be the controls.  They are functional, but could definitely use major improvements with regards to selecting targets, selecting actions, item management, and  movement.  Overall if you are looking for a Free To play game you could do worse, much worse then Florensia.

Now for the topic of Florensia that I find most disturbing.  The "Shout" channel in game is the most active built in chat channel.  From what I have seen in that channel Chris Hansen from To Catch a Predator could get a lifetime of material out 5 minutes in that chat.  People are not overtly rude, but is certainly blue when girls are online.
